How to Use
SSS on-line English tutor will log on "AOL Instant Messenger" with the user Id, "engtutor1," and wait for your message. In order to send him/her messages, you have to log on "AOL Instant Messenger" and add "engtutor1" into your buddy list. You have to identify yourself as a SSS student by typing your real name before getting any service.
If your computer does not have "AOL Instant Messenger" then download it from AIM website. If "AOL Instant Messenger" is installed on your computer, but you don't have your own screen name, then on AOL Instant Messenger sign on window, click on "Get a Screen Name" link and follow the instructions. If you have an AOL email account, you don't need to create another screen name. You can use the same user ID and password for the Instant Messenger. - Use of the On-Line English Tutoring Room is not meant to substitute for your attendance at your regular SSS tutoring sessions. This service is meant to supplement your one-on-one tutoring sessions.
- There is only one tutor staffing the On-Line Tutoring Room. At times your questions may receive a quick response. At other times you may have to wait longer for a response. Your patience is appreciated.
